"I was really impressed with how much they cared about our product."
Your AI feature works. Your users just don't trust it yet. Boldare designs the human-AI interactions that close that gap – from confidence signals and error states to onboarding flows that earn adoption from day one.
See the companies that trusted Boldare to get it done.

The first result looked off. Maybe generic, maybe just not quite right. They didn't report it. They didn't complain. They just went back to doing things the old way. And now the feature sits in the product with nobody using it.
The model returns an answer. There's no indication of how confident it is, where it came from, or what to do if it's wrong. Users can't tell the difference between a high-confidence result and a guess – so they treat everything with the same low-level suspicion.
A spinner. Then nothing. Or a message that says "something went wrong" with no explanation and no way forward. Users don't know if it's their input, their data, or the model – so they stop trying.
They want to know what the AI does on its own, what requires a human to confirm, and where the result came from. If the interface can't answer those questions, the deal stalls at procurement. Not at the demo.
Three ways to engage, depending on where you are. Start with an audit if you're not sure what's broken. Move to a full build when you know what needs to change. Stay with us as your AI product evolves.
Interaction audit
Every AI feature in your product reviewed against the specific interaction patterns that cause users to disengage, lose trust, or stop coming back.
Friction map
A visual map of where and why users drop off – tied to specific interaction moments in your product, not general UX observations.
Confidence and error state assessment
An honest review of what your AI feature shows when it's uncertain or wrong – and what it should show instead to keep users moving forward.
Prioritized fix plan
The top three UX issues ranked by adoption impact, with a clear rationale and a concrete recommendation for each – ready to hand to your team.

Interaction patterns library
A documented set of human-AI interaction patterns specific to your product – covering conversational UI design, feedback loops, and copilot interface standards – reusable across features, teams, and future releases.
Feedback loop design
How the AI communicates confidence, uncertainty, and progress – including output formatting, streaming states, and inline confidence signals.
Error and failure UX
Designed error states that tell users what went wrong, why, and what to do next – not just that something failed.
Trust and transparency layer
UI patterns that answer the questions enterprise users ask before they act on an AI result: what did the model do, what did a human confirm, where did this come from.
Full design handoff
Figma files, interaction specs, and implementation guidance your engineering team can work from without a lengthy briefing process.

The thinking behind our work – written down and open for anyone building something worth building.
We work across the most widely used AI and design tools on the market. But what we bring to an engagement isn't a preferred stack – it's a way of thinking about human-AI interaction that works regardless of what your product is built on.

Here's what clients say about working with us.
Product Builders | AI-Native is a community for practitioners building digital products in the AI era – run by Boldare, powered by 20 years and 350+ products of hands-on experience.
We regularly go live with guests from product, design, and engineering for honest conversations about what building AI-native actually looks like in practice. Written recaps, articles, and show notes from every session live on Substack.
Over 300 products built across renewable energy, finance, construction and travel. The interaction thinking that makes AI UX work is the same thinking that's been behind every product we've shipped.
The AI UX patterns we use in engagements come from real products, real users, and real adoption data – not from design sprints that never reached production.
Senior AI UX thinking available to mid-market teams – faster to start, more practical to run, and tied to real delivery from day one.
Boldare has run an internal AI guild since 2023. Every ai interaction designer working on AI UX engagements uses AI tooling daily in their own workflow.
Tell us what you're building. We'll tell you where the friction is – and what it would take to fix it.
Answers to the questions we hear most often – from teams evaluating an audit to those already mid-build.
If adoption dropped after launch, the problem is usually about the interaction around it – missing confidence signals, generic first outputs, or error states that leave users with no path forward. These patterns are fixable, but they need to be diagnosed before they can be addressed.
